Éclaircie (defined as a bright or sunny interval following a period of darkness; a break in the clouds; lightning) is a modern dance infused with elements of the dance technique and ideologies of the Baroque period. It explores the dancer as three dancing bodies — Cosmic, Social, and Physical — the power that exists in the dialogue between them, and their relationships to one another in our communities today.
