2013

NYBD Dance of the Month
A class exploring the Renaissance and Baroque dance form of the Canary.  Students were able to practice their “pedalogue” and learned the opening figure from the Baroque notation, Le Vieux Canarye.

Teaching Contemporary Limón Training
Created phrases and etudes to teach fellow dancers while receiving feedback on teaching methods and style.

Baroque Dance for Musicians, Mark Morris Dance Center
Taught Notation in relation to time and meter as well as the basic Baroque steps and figures from a Minuet, Gigue and Gavotte.

NYBD Dance of the Month
A class teaching the basic steps of the Baroque gigue as well as several dance figures, inspired by An Ecchoe by Mr. Groscort, to Bach’s Fugue in G Major BV 577.

University of Kansas Guest Artist
Two week residency teaching Modern, Baroque and Composition Classes, as well as choreographing and setting a piece on the university students.

2012

Private New Years Eve Event
Taught proper Baroque etiquette to the guests as well as a minuet contra dance.

Teaching Assistant, Bard College
Teaching Assistant for the New York Live Arts Partnership with Bard College.  Coordinating all administrative work with the four teachers sharing the Intermediate and Advanced Modern Classes as well as daily communication with the students in these courses.

Southern Illinois University
Master class and lecture on the Relationship Between Music and Dance for the School of Music, followed by a performance and a contra dance for the audience members.

Roving Classical Commedia University and Mask Arts Company
Summer Program, Italian Renaissance Dance and Acrobatics

Middlebury Bach Festival
Taught four contra dances for the Opening Gala for the festival.

Gigue Class including the contra dance The Female Saylor as well as a French gigue

Sarabande Class to Bach’s unaccompanied cello site #3 in C Major
